OR5.PNGTo Rule Them All...

Excellent free ringtone and mp3 sites..

M1.png Fank
Small mp3's ideal for ringtones. Good quality.(NOTE: Once you've clicked on the artist/track you want, you'll be taken to a new page. Click on the blue floppy disc to download approx 235kb (30 second version). For full track/stereo download, click on the musical note icon just above the foot of the page. This will open a new page with all the full-track download info. 'cKayatb' means download by the way.. Or you can go here: Fank Search you can search for tracks/artists here but you can ONLY download the 234kb ringtone at the bottom of the results page.

Nice and easy to use this one, and it's in English which is enormously helpful if your primary language is.. English grin.GIF. Not a huge page load or anything and you can search for mp3s or lyrics. Once you've chosen your track you'll have to enter the code from a 'capcha' image, but they're easily readable. Again thanks to andy45 for the heads up on this one.

M1.pngMp3000 Search
Excellent and easy to use search engine for mp3s, just enter the name of the artist or track and click 'search', you can also search for lyrics if desired. (NOTE: this is the Google transcoded version of the site to make it easier for you to use via your normal wap browser, if you've got a posh phone hehe.GIF or you're using Opera Mini, you can use the full site here:Mp3000 Web

M1.png
Over a million mp3s searchable by artist, title, track etc. Results show size and bitrate. (thanks to andy45 for this one)

M1.pngTagoo Search
Great search engine for mp3s - you can search by Artist, Track title, Song title and set preferences (such as 'not less than 128kbs etc.

M1.pngFonzo Search
Searchable database of thousands of mp3s - just enter the track name or artist in the dialog box and click the button below it. (weirdly, if you're using Internet Explorer you won't get the box at all so you'll have to use a different browser - works fine in Opera Mini btw) Once again, 'cKayatb' means 'download - learn Russian the garion way..grin.GIF *edit 29/11/08 they've now added one of those 'capcha' image boxes (don't you just love 'em?) so once you've chosen your track you'll have to enter the numbers from the image in the second box then press the blue button beneath it, it's worth it to be honest as I can find even really obscure tracks on this site.

M1.pngBodr
More small mp3s for ringtones. Click on the 'i' button if you wish to store the URL of the mp3 to use in Fget or whatever.

M1.pngPolyringtonez
Polyphonic midis. Huge selection, good search facility, after selecting 'search' enter the title of the track or the band, and then select from artist or title in the box below.

M1.pngTube2mp3
This site will allow you to search for music videos and convert them to mp3 - note that the resulting mp3 quality will be dependent on the quality of the original video. You'll need a full javascript capable browser for this one though (it won't work in Opera Mini) and with any mobile browser you'll need to manually refresh the page whilst the conversion process is taking place. But that's not all.. you can also search for and download mp3s by scrolling past the video search box to 'Free mp3 search' and once you've chosen your track THERE'S NO CODE TO INPUT hurray.GIF just a simple direct download, lovely. Another nod in the direction of the redoubtable andy45 for this one.

M1.pngWapfiles
AMR, WAV, MP3, MIDS.OGGs, MMF.. The works. Good selection. It's Russian (wouldn't you know) scroll past the stuff at the top of the page and go to the blue folder icons.

M1.pngMasyaka
psychedelic, gabba, trance, goa, hardhouse, techno.. I have no idea what those things mean.. lol.GIF

And finally... For all the the people who keep asking: the track used in the old Nokia N series ads was Mobys 'In My Heart'. Here's a link to the full mp3 (2.3mb)In My Heart
